How Do I Donate to Local Hospice Care?
Amedisys accepts donations both online and by check. If you donate online, you can specify the location that cared for your loved one so we can notify them of your generous gift. You may also send your donations by mail to the local hospice care center or to the Amedisys corporate headquarters, located at 3854 American Way, Suite A Baton Rouge, LA 70816.
The Amedisys Foundation helps both our people and our patients in times of need. If you'd like to donate to support future Amedisys patients with assistance from simple comfort items to funeral expenses, donate below. Supporting Our Patients and Our People
All hospice donations to Amedisys go to support our Amedisys Foundation, which serves both our patients and our employees. The Patients' Special Needs Fund provides financial assistance to our home health and hospice patients during difficult times. Grants are available for general bills and comfort items or funeral, cremation and burial assistance.
The Employees' 1st Fund provides assistance to our own team members who experience severe financial need caused by unexpected emergencies like natural disasters, serious illness or injury, funeral expenses or extreme circumstances.
